Non GamStop Betting Sites: The Full Comparison
A betting site not on GamStop is a sportsbook licensed outside Great Britain, and in this market it is almost always a casino that has bolted a book onto its account rather than a standalone bookmaker. Five of the ten operators covered here run one: GoldenBet, Cheeky Wins, Superb, WinnerCasino and MaximalBet. The other five take no bets at all, which is the first thing worth knowing before you compare prices.
What "betting not on GamStop" actually describes
GamStop is the UK self-exclusion scheme. Operators holding a UK Gambling Commission licence must join it and must check it before opening an account or taking a deposit. A sportsbook licensed in Curaçao is not among those operators, so the check never happens. Nothing is being circumvented: the book sits in a different jurisdiction, and the scheme was designed around the UK-licensed market.
The consequence is not about whether the bet is legal — placing a bet with an offshore operator is not in itself an offence for the customer. The consequence is about recourse. A UK-licensed bookmaker answers to the Commission for its terms and its advertising, and a dispute that cannot be settled goes to an approved alternative dispute resolution provider. Offshore, the practical route is the operator's support desk and then arbitration under the licence.
Which of these operators takes bets
The five that do are all casino brands with a sportsbook attached, and the sportsbook is the secondary product. That shapes what you get: football is priced properly, because football is what the audience bets on, while racing, niche markets and the deep in-play coverage a dedicated bookmaker builds are thinner or absent. Cheeky Wins and Superb also advertise free-bet promotions alongside their casino packages.
The five without a sportsbook are 1000 Spins, Doctor Spins, Electric Wins, Galaxy Spins and Extreme Spins. That is not a flaw in those casinos — a slots-only site is easier to assess — but it does mean that any comparison of "betting sites" in this group is really a comparison of five operators, not ten.

Three checks before you bet
First, whether the market you want is actually priced. A sportsbook that shows a Premier League fixture and a handful of Champions League games may have nothing on a Tuesday night in the Championship. Second, whether the stake you want is accepted. Limits at a casino-attached book are usually lower than at a dedicated one, and a price that looks competitive can be capped to a stake that makes it pointless.
Third, whether the terms allow what you plan to do. Cash-out is usually at the book's discretion rather than a contractual right, account restriction is broadly permitted, and the maximum payout clause can bind on a long-priced winner or an accumulator. None of that is hidden — it is in the terms — but it is not on the betting slip either.
Where the offshore sportsbook is weaker
British horse racing is the clearest gap. UK-licensed bookmakers compete on best-odds-guaranteed offers, on each-way terms and on live coverage of British meetings, and those are commercial commitments an offshore book has no reason to match. Football is closer, because the markets are international and the prices are widely available. Racing is where a punter used to a UK book will notice the difference most quickly.
The second gap is consumer recourse: no Commission oversight, no requirement to join GamStop, and no UK dispute-resolution route. That does not make every offshore sportsbook a bad one, but it does mean the checks are on you, and the pages below are built around doing them.
None of these operators holds a UK Gambling Commission licence. A bet placed offshore does not carry the UK dispute-resolution route, and the operator is not required to check GamStop. Read the terms before you stake, not after a dispute.
Where to go next
The betting section splits by what a punter actually needs to check: the British-specific questions, whether there is an app, how the sportsbook itself compares, and the two markets that decide whether an offshore book is usable for you.
